Dance Class Etiquette

Class Etiquette

Please remember that we all want to have fun but learn as well.

Turn off cellphones and pagers. Arrive to class on time and ready.

At first you may feel self-conscious, this is understandable but please

refrain from excessive laughing or other outbursts in consideration for

others who are in the class.

What To Wear To Class...

Wear loose comfortable clothing that allows for lots of movement.

Please no jeans, or short skirts.

I highly recommend a hip scarf with either fringe, coins, or beading

attached to it. A crop top or tie top that shows off the midriff is

excellent because you will want to see the muscle you are working.

WHAT TO BRING:

Beginner's Class- Yourself and an open mind

Intermediate/Advanced Class- Yourself and stamina

Professional Class- Sword, Globes or Candles, Tray, Veil (preferably silk),

a 4X8 carpet (can be left at the studio), zils, tambourine...

I will try to announce at the end of each class

what will be needed for the next class depending on class progression.
